The Heartsong Retreat is an annual spiritual retreat typically held in the Spring each year. It is open to anyone living with HIV as well as those affected by HIV. The retreat takes place over three days/two nights at Camp McDowell in Nauvoo, AL (near Jasper). The Retreat Planning Team helps with coordinating and leading efforts.
Heartsong 2014 will be held April 30- May 2. Applications will be available in mid-February and will be mailed to past participants.
How can I help?
The cost of the retreat is $160 per person which includes 2 nights lodging and 6 meals. To raise the needed funds for Heartsong 2014, we need your support. Applicants and other supporters are currently seeking donations. With your help we can accept all applicants regardless of their ability to pay.
You may sponsor the cost of one or more persons or a portion of the cost. Any donation you are able to make is welcome and tax-deductible. Checks may be made payable to UAB 1917 Clinic with "Heartsong Retreat" on the memo line.
