Subspecialty and areas of interest

Dr. James Hunter is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery. He also serves as the medical director of the UAB Highlands ICU and the Perioperative Surgical Home Service and as the co-director of the Anesthesia Simulation Program. He specializes in critical care medicine. His other interests include quality improvement and medical ethics.
