CAMAC Research Themes
- Last Updated on June 05, 2013
The Comprehensive Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Autoimmunity Center is organized into thematic workgroups to support and continue to develop the faculty and the scientific initiatives of the research base. These integrative themes of the research base include (i) immunology, autoimmunity and inflammation (ii) genetics and functional genomics, (iii) bone, cartilage and connective tissues, (iv) experimental therapeutics and biomarkers, (v) neurobehavioral medicine, and (vi) epidemiology, outcomes and prevention. Members often work at the interface of several themes, with ‘touch points’ and ‘cross-over points’ being driven by the scientific opportunity characteristic of our collaborative, interactive environment.
