This section is Responsible for clinical echocardiography, electrocardiography, event monitoring, and exercise testing. The members of this section coordinate these clinical activities with ongoing clinical research activities in these areas.

Heart Stations
The University Heart Station includes 12-lead electrocardiography, graded exercise testing, and Holter monitoring. ECG and GXT services are overseen by Dr. Ferdinand Urthaler. Holter monitors are read by Dr. Sharon Dailey. The Kirklin Clinic also houses a large cardiographics area which includes a Heart Station with ECG, ambulatory monitoring, and EECP capabilities (under the direction of Drs. Ferdinand Urthaler, Sharon Dailey, and William Rogers, respectively).
