Patient Population

 Patients with a broad spectrum of heart conditions, including:
  • Chest pain
  • Coronary heart disease 
  • Hypertension 
  • Rhythm disturbances 

Clinical Services

  • Cardiac event monitors 
  • 12-lead electrocardiograms 
  • Enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP)
  • 24-hour holter monitoring 
  • Cardiovascular stress test / Graded exercise testing (GXT)

Training

Cardiology Fellows learn diagnostic procedures during their Echocardiography Rotation:
  • Performing and/or interpreting studies (including transthoracic echocardiographic studies)
  • Interpreting results
  • Completing reports
  • Presenting cases or special topics during Echocardiography Grand Rounds
