This electrophysiology rotation is designed to provide the Cardiology Fellow with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all common cardiac arrhythmias.

|
People with cardiac arrhythmias requiring invasive and/or noninvasive interventions |
|
Clinical Responsibilities
|
- Assessing cardiac arrhythmias using noninvasive methods
- Evaluating patients before and after EP procedures
- Implanting permanent pacemakers and Internal Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) devices
- Assisting in a wide range of EP studies
- Understanding the requirements of antiarrhythmic drug therapy
- Participating inpatient arrhythmia consultations
