Essential Skills
|
Performing all aspects of the echocardiographic exam, including:
- M-mode and 2-D echocardiography
- Doppler examinations
- color
- continuous
- pulsed
- harmonic imaging
- Tissue Doppler
- 3-D echocardiography
- Intraoperative echocardiography
- Interpreting results and preparing reports.
Presenting case studies and/or special topics at Grand Rounds. |

Educational Outcomes
|
Cardiologists successfully completing this rotation will be proficient in echocardiographic examination and interpretation, including the use of all echocardiographic instrumentation.
