Vascular Biology & Hypertension Program |

The focus of the Vascular Biology and Hypertension Program at UAB is training in the fundamental aspects of hypertension and vascular biology research. The Program emphasizes cellular and molecular approaches to the study of cardiovascular control mechanisms. Each trainee is given in-depth experience in one area of investigation and broad exposure to the overall area of hypertension research.

- This is an NIH-funded training program. Applicants must hold M.D., D.V.M., D.D.S., O.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degrees and must be United States citizens or permanent residents by the time of fellowship activation.
