echo_200 The Echocardiography Lab provides comprehensive patient care using the most advanced echocardiography testing available. Echocardiograms use ultrasonic sound waves that reflect (“echo”) off a patient’s heart structure and back to a computer for interpretation.

  • Performing and/or interpreting studies (including transthoracic echocardiographic studies)
  • Interpreting results
  • Completing reports
  • Presenting cases or special topics during Echocardiography Grand Rounds

Research

Primarily correlating echo findings with other noninvasive and invasive modalities and cardiac surgery.
