Biography

I am a board-certified Pediatric Dermatologist and Associate Professor of Dermatology at UAB and Children's of Alabama. I completed my residency training in Dermatology at UAB and fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology at Northwestern / Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. I have been practicing in an academic setting since 2001. I consider caring for my patients and families as both a privilege and a blessing. I see patients from birth thru 18 years of age. My special interests include the medical and laser management of hemangiomas and other vascular birthmarks, dermatologic surgery, evaluation of genetic skin conditions, and management of complex medical dermatology issues in children.
