Research Description:

My research interests are to develop mathematical, statistical and computational tools to help solve the scientific problems in molecular biology and genetics. These include developing new methods and designing novel algorithms to map complex disease genes in genetic linkage analysis and linkage disequilibrium analysis using both population-based and family-based data. Another research that I am interested is functional genomics, which include predicting protein function using protein-protein interaction data and developing model-based and other novel approaches for analysis of gene microarray expression data.
