LaKisha Mack, Department of Medicine Employee of the Month for September 2013

LaKisha Mack has been selected as the Department of Medicine Employee of LaKishathe Month for September 2013!   She was notified this week by Jason Daniel, DOM Executive Administrator, and Mark Brooks, Chair of the DOM Employee of the Month Selection Committee.   LaKisha is the Division Administrator for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Known for her positive outlook, dynamic energy, keen insight and caring nature, LaKisha always strives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and plan strategically.   She is open-minded and encourages others to share their ideas and to work collaboratively.   She is known for having solutions to offer rather than problems to present.   LaKisha is conscientious and produces work of the highest quality  while encouraging and helping others to do the same.

Dr. Anthony DiStasiAntonio Di Stasi, MD

Dr. Di Stasi is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program Unit, where he performs both clinical and translational research activities. His primary research focus involves the pre-clinical validation of adoptive T cell immunotherapy strategies for hematologic malignancies.
