Becky Murphy has been selected as the Department of Medicine Employee of the Becky MurphyMonth for July 2014!    Becky was notified July 1st by Jason Daniel, DOM Executive Administrator, Dr. Carlos Estrada, Division Director, and LaKisha Mack, DOM Operations Administrator. Becky is an Administrative Associate in the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Becky Murphy is known for being five steps ahead of the expected when performing her normal responsibilities as well as when organizing projects and coordinating services.  These feats are accomplished with careful attention to detail.   She is a calming force and never loses her cool even when asked to complete many tasks within a short deadline.  She does this while juggling multiple priorities. Becky provides outstanding support to Dr. Estrada and over 20 Division faculty as well as being the Oracle and administrative processes guru for the Division.   If there is something new to be done or learned, Becky has never just shrugged her shoulders. She takes the initiative, figures it out, and gets it done.   Knowing when to ask for help, she does not pass the buck.  She follows-up until it is resolved and then communicates the solution to all.  Becky is praised for her great attitude and work ethic and her sincere, helpful spirit.  She is a shining example of what makes our Department great!

Please join us in congratulating Becky for being selected as Department of Medicine Employee of the Month for July 2014!   The Division of General Internal Medicine will host a reception in her honor on July 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Faculty Office Tower, Room 703.
