Conference Room Regulations:

  • An authorization code is required to dial long distance on all conference room phones. Please obtain dialing instructions at time of reservation.
  • Each conference room has a Record of Long Distance Telephone Calls log book. Please RECORD ALL LONG DISTANCE CALLS IN THE LOG, and indicate account number to be charged.
  • If food or beverage is being served, please wipe down tables at end of meeting and notify DOPMFacilitiesHelp@uabmc.edu so arrangements can be made for the evening cleaning crew to vacuum.
  • Please be sure conference rooms are left ready for the next user:
    straighten tables and chairs
    erase marker boards
    remove all meeting materials

  • Recurring meetings are scheduled for January through June or July through December.  Recurring meetings should be renewed by the requestor in June and December.
  • If you have a conference room scheduled (on a recurring basis or for a "one time only" meeting), and for any reason you cancel your meeting, please release the conference room for that date by submitting a cancelation via the online form.

Please note: All meetings will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. It is the responsibility of the requestor to review the conference room calendar prior to submitting the request to ensure availability. It is the meeting requestor's responsibility to ensure meetings adjourn at the scheduled time and that the room is returned to good order at the conclusion of the meeting. Reservations and cancellations will be confirmed via email within two business days of receipt. For same day or early next day meeting requests, please submit the request and call 934-4140 for confirmation.
