Clinic Overview The UAB Behavioral Genetics Clinic combines the skills of experts to provide evaluations and recommendations for management of children or adults who have genetic disorders that feature problematic behavior and developmental delay. The Behavioral Genetics Clinic meets on the second Tuesday morning of each month. The clinic primarily evaluates patients with a diagnosis of Angelman, Prader-Willi, velocardiofacial (DiGeorge), or Williams syndromes, but is not limited to these conditions. Families consult with a team of specialists that includes neurology, genetics, developmental psychology, nutrition, and social work.
