MedPride is a medical student group that strives to equip future physicians with the skills and information necessary to effectively manage the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) patients. We organize campus activities and panel discussions that focus on the unique health needs of and disparities in the LGBTQQ community. At these events, we seek to create safe spaces for LGBTQQ students, staff, and allies to share experiences as medical professionals as well as to discuss issues related to LGBTQQ patient care and public health.
