Farrah Ibrahim, M.D. FACP

Associate Professor of Medicine 

Dr. Ibrahim coordinates the curriculum for Morning Report, and coordinates instruction in the areas of geriatrics and palliative care. She is a gifted teacher honored with numerous teaching awards from students and residents. She received awards during her residency.

     
Yedla Parekha

 

Parekha Yedla, M.D. FACP

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Yedla serves as the clerkship director in IM for the UAB Huntsville Campus. She is the point faculty for training current Family Practice residents how to teach effectively. She is an outstanding teacher and hospitalist, and has won numerous awards for her teaching. 

     
Chahal Khushdeep

 

 Khushdeep Chahal, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Chahal brings his keen medical knowledge to bear at weekly didactic conferences,  during hospital rounds, and in the ambulatory clinic. Certified in the use of the portable ultrasound device, Dr Chahal teaches procedural skills.

 William Humphrey, M.D.

Director, Critical Care Service

 

Dr. Humphrey coordinates and implements the didactic and experiential component of Critical Care Medicine for each level of training, and participates in the evaluation and promotion committee and other committees of the residency program. He is a proven teacher with awards during his residency.

Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Montgomery is a part-time faculty member who works in the ambulatory clinic. She is a valuable preceptor for the continuity clinic.

Dr Shah is a part-time faculty member who works in the ambulatory clinic. She is a valuable preceptor for the continuity clinic.

 

 

 

K Wargo

 

Kurt Wargo, Pharm.D.

Clinical Professor

Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy

Dr Wargo teaches pharmacy students and residents who rotate on our in-patient teams on pharmacotherapy for the hospitalized adult patient. He also presents conferences for students and residents regularly and attends Morning Report.

Brad Wright,  Pharm.D.

Clinical Professor

Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy

Dr Wright focuses his teaching and care in our Continuity Clinic. He works with residents and students and educates patients. He also presents regular conferences for students and residents.
