PGY 1


Two to three 1/2-days clinic per week, during which time attending physicians are present for one-on-one consultation.

Family Medicine/Critical Care 16 Weeks (Four 4-week blocks)
Pediatrics 12 Weeks (Three 4-week blocks)
Obstetrics 4 Weeks
Orientation 4 Weeks
Orthopedics 4 Weeks
Emergency Medicine 4 Weeks
General Surgery 4 Weeks
Behavior Science (Blanton) 2 Weeks
Radiology 2 weeks


D.O. residents will have 3 surgery rotations built into their first year in order to meet Osteopathic Board requirements.
