The Center’s Educational Enrichment Program consists of a monthly seminar, an Annual Scientific Symposium, the Kidney Club (UAB), and the PKD/Cilia Club (MUSC). The seminar series, which is organized by Darwin Bell, features speakers who are conducting research in one of the areas of emphasis of the Center. With the seminar speaker permission, the seminars will be broadcast to the extended research base through a web portal with login access provided by the Center.

HRFDCC Workshops

As part of the Educational Enrichment Program, the Center also hosts technology workshops to help members utilize contemporary methodologies in their research. The most recent series of workshops were given through Core B and were entitled The Use of CRISPR Technology to Generate In Vitro and In Vivo Mutants. Members will be made aware of workshops as they are developed.
