Research and other pursuits: I’ve been fortunate to pursue my interests through research, including investigations of the influence and determinants of screening and self-care behaviors on biological outcomes in HIV or Hepatitis C, particularly for underserved populations.
I spend each summer working with graduate student researchers from Medicine and Public Health (and recently Pharmacy). During the Fall and Spring Terms I enjoy instructing Health Education/Kinesiology undergraduate courses with the School of Education and Group Fitness with UAB Campus Recreation.
