Call for Abstracts

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the “Glycoimmunobiology 2013” workshop / minisymposium to be held at UAB on November 22, 2013.

Several additional speakers will be selected from the submitted abstracts for short presentations. Other accepted abstracts will be presented at the poster session.  Please note: poster stand and mount can accommodate up to 4(h)x6(w) poster.

Everyone submitting an abstract will also need to register for the workshop. The workshop registration is free. Lunch will be provided for pre-registrants only.

The deadline for abstract submission is November 4, 2013.
The deadline has been extended until November 13th, 2013.
We are looking forward to your scientific contributions to this workshop!


Abstract Guidelines:

  Please submit abstracts via the website as a pdf organized as follows:

        •       Abstract should be no longer than one page, with 1 inch margins.

        •       Please use font Arial, size 11

        •       Abstract editing is the responsibility of the author

        •       Organize the abstract as follows:
                 - title
                 - authors’ names
                 - authors’ affiliations 

                 - body of the abstract (background, methods, results, summary)

        •       Title should be followed by one return

        •       Author list and affiliations should be each followed by one return

        •       The person submitting the abstract must underline their name in 
                 the list of authors

        •       Provide any grant acknowledgements for your research at the end 
                of the abstract (e.g., NIH-AI-24256)
