Instructor of Neurology Professional Background: DO, Des Moines University Personal Info: Dr. Albright received her bachelor's degree (B.A.) in science from the University of Northern Iowa. She earned her master's degree in public health (M.P.H.) and her doctorate in medicine (D.O.) from Des Moines University. She completed her medical internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, her neurology residency at the University of California San Diego, and her vascular neurology (stroke) fellowship at the University of Texas Houston. Dr. Albright joined the UAB faculty July 1, 2010 as a clinical instructor in neurology. Specialty / Interests: Her research interests include patient access to acute stroke care in neurologically underserved areas, the role of hypertensive heart disease in ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and acute stroke treatment. |
