Specialty / Interests My research interests are frontotemporal dementia and Alzheimer's disease, particularly the disruption of semantic and linguistic abilities characteristic of these diseases. My major long-term goal is to develop methods of cognitive rehabilitation that are practical and inexpensive. A necessary first step toward this goal is to identify targets for therapy. In order to do this I am combining methods from experimental psychology and neuroimaging, as well as developing computational models.
