Xiaosi (Stan) Han, MD, PhD, was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Neurology on July 1, 2009. He attended the Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, Changsha, China for his medical doctorate. He completed a PhD in Cell Biology and his residency training in the Department of Neurology at UAB, and afterwards he completed a Neuro-Oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. His interests are in brain tumor treatment, translational research in cell signaling and tumorigenesis, and experimental therapy.
