Dr. Stover was appointed Assistant Professor with the department on July 15, 2003.

Dr. Stover graduated from Alcala de Henares University Medical School in Madrid, Spain. She worked as a primary care physician in Spain and was a neurology resident at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After completing an internship at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond, Dr. Stover served a neurology residency at MCV and also at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she also was awarded a fellowship in movement disorders and became Senior Research Fellow in movement disorders.

Specialty / Interests
The medical and surgical treatments of movement disorders, especially Parkinson’s disease, are the focus of Dr. Stover's clinical interests. She also is interested in the treatment of dystonia, tremor, Tourette’s syndrome, restless legs syndrome, and sleep disorders in patients with movement disorders, as well as innovative treatments for movement disorders.

Dr. Stover is currently accepting patients at the Movement Disorders Clinic at The Kirklin Clinic.
