• Create new research funds to support research projects, pilot projects, and bridge funding for investigators in our areas of disease focus
• Support new fellows and fellowship programs so that we can continue to educate and mentor young clinicians and investigators within the department
• Establish funds to support clinical programs/clinical research in chronic disease areas such as Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotropic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia gravis, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease, and in prevention and education programs in cognitive health and stroke/cerebrovascular disease
• Establish new endowed chairs, professorships, lectureships, fellowships, and scholarships

Ways to Give

Various giving options are available below. For those who would rather print out a form and mail it, a contribution form in PDF format is included. For others who would rather make a cash contribution online, a link is provided to the UAB Online Giving System. All you need is your web browser and a credit card. It is a simple and secure method using their secure server. Cash contributions have the advantage of providing an immediate benefit to the recipient, and the actual cost to the donor may be reduced in many cases thereby providing a tax savings gained through a charitable contribution deduction.
