Dr. David Standaert announced this week important changes in the leadership team for the Center for Neurodegeneration and Experimental Therapeutics. Dr. Standaert stated that the Center was created 6 years ago, and has grown impressively. Furthermore, he stated that there are major plans to continue to expand CNET over the next few years, and achieve the Center's primary goal of accelerating progress towards treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.

With current and planned activities, the Center has reached the point where it is necessary to expand the leadership team, therefore, Standaert announced the appointments of Dr. Erik Roberson and Dr. Andy West to Association Directors. Dr. Standaert stated that he hopes in their new roles, they will work to enhance the internal programs and continue the trajectory of growth.
