Dr. William Meador was awarded a $65,000 training fellowship from The National MS Society as part of its comprehensive strategy to STOP MS in its tracks, RESTORE function that has been lost, and END the disease forever. The one year award is entitled "STOP MS PROGRESSION - Post residency training in MS clinical care."

When asked about the award Meador stated "Being able to train for an additional year in clinical MS will allow me to work more closely with patients in clinic and with other specialists so I can help MS patients achieve their greatest physical potential."

Dr. Meador will be an Instructor/Fellow beginning July 1st in the Department of Neurology, Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Immunology.
