The Department of Neurology "administrative offices" are located on the 3rd floor of the Sparks Center Building (as shown in the photo to the right, approaching the corner of 7th Ave South and 18th Street). It has many subspecialties and is spread out over several blocks, which makes it difficult to recommend one specific map. For general directions in finding your way to the location of your appointment with the Department of Neurology, you will need to determine from which main road you will be approaching the UAB Medical Center District.

Below are some helpful links to maps of the UAB campus, some where you can find buildings by name, a detailed map of city blocks that encompass UAB, and, most importantly, parking deck locations for UAB Hospital, The Kirklin Clinic, Callahan Eye Foundation, maternity, valet parking, as well as patient pick-up locations. The Medical Center District Map is a good overview of the approach to downtown Birmingham (where the Medical Center is located) and shows the main highways and roads coming into the area.
