A reception to honor recipients of the 2015 Dean's Excellence Awards was held on June 30 at the Wallace Tumor Institute. The Dean's Excellence Awards recognize exceptional contributions from School of Medicine faculty members in service, teaching, research, diversity enhancement and mentorship. The 2015 recipients are: Lee I. Ascherman, M.D., MPH; Michele Kong, M.D.; Beatriz León-Ruiz, Ph.D.; Avi Madan-Swain, Ph.D.; Michele Nichols, M.D.; Lisa Schwiebert, Ph.D.; William (Steve) Stigler, M.D.; J.
