Otolaryngology resident wins Alavi-Mandell Award

moore colorRising PGY-3, Lindsay Moore, M.D., has been selected as the recipient of the Alavi-Mandell Award for her publication titled, "Characterizing the utilities and limitations of repurposing an open-field optical imaging device for fluorescence-guided surgery in head and neck cancer patients." The award is given to individuals who were the first author of a paper published in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine, were trainees at the time of the published work was carried out, and who made a major contribution to the completion of the work. Moore is the first person in the Department of Otolaryngology to receive an award from The Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
