Medical Director, Lions Eye Clinic; Associate Professor
Area of Interest
Dr. Yee joined the faculty in 2002 and has since served as the medical director of the Lions Eye Clinic. From 2002-2012 he also served as the medical director for the Callahan Eye Hospital Emergency Department. Dr. Yee’s clinical focus is comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Yee received his board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2000.
Dr. Yee served in the U.S. Air Force from 1998 to 2002. A Los Angeles, Calif., native, Dr. Yee received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from UCLA in chemistry and physical chemistry, respectively. He attended medical school at University of California, Irvine, and completed his ophthalmology residency training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Yee was fellowship trained at the Cullen Eye Institute with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
