Profile

Eric grew up in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Fairhope, Alabama the summer before starting high school and after graduation moved to Birmingham, AL to attend Samford University. Upon earning his B.S. in Biology, he worked at several hospitals in the area including the HealthSouth Medical Center (now UAB Highlands), Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital, and Montclair Baptist Hospital (now Trinity Medical Center). He lived in Birmingham for nine years then moved back to south Alabama to attend the Physician Assistant program at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

Upon graduating with a master of health science degree he went to work for a private medical oncology practice where he remained for 7 years. In September 2007 he earned his master of science in health administration from UAB. In August 2008 he moved back to Birmingham and joined the Center for Palliative and Supportive Care.
