Description of Duties

  • Directs all aspects of financial operations of the department, including:
  • the areas of budgets
  • federal grants and contracts
  • financial projections
  • equipment/facilities management
  • cash management/investments
  • Acts as liaison to other departments, agencies
  • Participates in various special committees throughout the University system
  • Functions effectively with senior management team to manage the department and provide advice and assistance to the chair
  • Directs all aspects of Human Resources at the Department level
