The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham, offers one-year fellowship experience in Diagnostic Surgical Pathology. The University of Alabama at Birmingham Surgical Pathology laboratory performs approximately 38,000 evaluations per year which cover the entire breadth and depth of clinical material. There are especially strong services in GYN Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Musculoskeletal Oncology, ENT Oncology, Transplant Pathology, and GI diseases including the liver.
