Unfortunately, a cure for childhood cancer has proven elusive. But great progress in treating and curing children with cancer continues. In the 21^st century most children diagnosed with cancer will be cured of their disease. Success in childhood cancer treatment depends upon the efforts of a large team of specialists including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and psychosocial support specialists combined with the latest in pediatric specific facilities and resources.
