Each year more than 1,200 teenagers and young adults are seen by a team of health professionals (physicians, nurses, nutritionists, and psychologists and social workers) specially trained to handle their unique problems.

The UAB Divison of Adolescent Medicine provides specialty and sub-specialty services for patients at the William A Daniel, Jr. Adolescent Health Center located in Park Place on the campus of Children's Hospital.

The Adolescent Health Center is a special place for young people, away from the child-oriented services of Children's Hospital. Our center is designed, decorated, and staffed with the unique concerns of teens and young adults in mind. Our current clinics include the adolescent clinic, the eating disorders clinic, the teen tot clinic, and the adolescent nutrition clinic. We are eager to work with teens, young adults, and parents to enhance and expand our services.
