Jones-TonyaTonya Jones, Medical Office Specialist, has been selected the August 2013 UAB Department of Psychiatry Employee of the Month.

Tonya was nominated for outstanding achievement, exemplary effort, customer service, and productivity. Tonya is extremely courteous, always willing to do whatever is needed to assist patients, faculty, staff, residents and medical students. She is efficient and juggles many needs, schedules, and deadlines for faculty within the Consult Liaison Division, often reminding faculty within the division of issues and deadlines. Tonya always looks for the best solution to problems when facing and addressing difficult issues. Tonya is an invaluable resource to the Consult Liaison faculty and regularly goes above and beyond her job responsibilities.
