One Man’s Road to Success: Overcoming Depression When Antidepressants Fail

Redwine-BatesIn a recent WBHM article, Shilpa Reddy skillfully reports on Bryan Olson’s 20 year battle with depression and struggle to overcome it. Olson attributes his success to a cutting edge treatment for depression, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The treatment is a non-invasive therapy for depression using highly concentrated, pulsating, magnetic fields to stimulate function in targeted areas of the brain. For further details, please refer to Using Magnets to Treat Depression

Dr. Bates Redwine is the Director of the TMS program at UAB. To determine if TMS Therapy, may be right for you, contact our office to schedule an appointment with a physician on our ACCESS line:(205) 934-7008 or 1-800-782-1133.
