Cheri L. Canon, M.D., F.A.C.R.Professor and Chair of Radiology, Witten-Stanley Endowed Chair of Radiology Dr. Canon is a former chief radiology resident at UAB. A vivacious and astute physician, Dr. Canon functions as an abdominal radiologist with special interest in contrast fluoroscopy. She received the UAB President's "Excellence in Teaching" award and multiple UAB School of Medicine Argus Teaching Awards. Dr. Canon is an oral examiner in GI for the American Board of Radiology, serves on the GI Oral Exam Committee, Chairs the GI Committee for the new ABR Certifying Examination, and Chairs the ACR In-Training Examination Committee. Dr. Canon served as the Radiology Residency Program Director, Radiology Division Director, and Senior Vice Chair of Operations. |
