Dr. Yester is the Director of the Radiological Physics Division with clinical responsibilities in Nuclear Medicine and teaches nuclear medicine physics to the residents during their residency. He provides physics support for all of the imaging devices in our nuclear medicine division and maintains much of the computer hardware and software so crucial to the manipulation and interpretation of radionuclide imaging data. He plays a key role in the Division's on-going research in renal radionuclide agents. He has recently studied the protective effects of lead aprons in persons working with radionuclides. His current interest involves the study of image quality in coincidence imaging.
