Christopher G. Baalmann, M.D.

Dr. Baalmann graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas prior to completing medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.  He completed his transitional year at Sacred Heart Transitional Residency Program in Spokane, Washington. He and his wife enjoy going to restaurants and movies, and this is often how they “get away”. He finds that spending quality time with his family is important since quantity can be limited. He also has a passion for professional and college basketball as well as professional football.  He enjoys exercising, particularly by playing basketball or tennis.

John A. Banahan, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Banahan graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and received an Academic of Excellence Scholarship from the University of Mississippi. He further went on to complete medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his transitional year at Baptist Health System in Birmingham. He loves spending time with his family and dog.  He also enjoys jogging, playing golf, and fishing.

Jack R. Cunningham, III, M.D.

Dr. Cunningham graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi prior to completing medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his transitional year at Baptist Health System in Birmingham. He enjoys fishing, hunting, tennis and numerous intramural sports such as football, softball, and Ultimate Frisbee.  He is interested in personal fitness, cooking, movies, and board games.

Annie L. Harris, M.D.

Dr. Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.  She further went on to complete medical school at Mercer University. She completed her transitional year at Mercer at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Her hobbies include running and exercising, reading, cross-stitching and crocheting.  One of her favorite activities is going to antique and thrift stores to find “treasures”. She loves puzzles, especially Sudoku.

Justin R. Hutto, M.D.

Dr. Hutto obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee prior to completing medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He completed his transitional year at Baptist Health System in Birmingham. The biggest interest in his life is his wonderful wife and family.  His favorite hobbies include snow skiing, weight lifting, running, playing and watching sports (especially football, soccer, baseball, and basketball), playing piano, and travel.  Church, religion, and mission work is also something that he values very much and is a large part of his life.  He is also fascinated by electronics and enjoys playing video games when he can find the time.

She completed her transitional year at Baptist Health System in Birmingham. She enjoys playing social tennis and teaming up with her mother in doubles; traveling; she lived and studied art history in Florence, Italy for four months in 2004; jogging and biking, skiing and boating, and reading novels including historical nonfiction.
