AbDNAHelixLOGOThe Research in Progress  Seminar Series is an informal series designed to encourage graduate trainees, postdoctoral fellows, as well as faculty, to present their most recent data.  The goals of this event seek:

 

    • To assist the development of early-stage research projects by providing constructive suggestions

    • To facilitate coordination, collaboration and interaction among investigators and trainees

    • To identify, to evaluate and to develop new research opportunities

  • To bring more fundamental and mechanistic research questions to the bedside

The series is open to researchers with interests in rheumatic diseases, mechanisms of autoimmune diseases, cellular and molecular immunology, structure and function of immunoglobulins, transgenic models of immune function, transplantation immunology, neuroimmunology, and genetic variation of immune response genes and the impact on immune system function, including the predisposition to autoimmune and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases and the characteristics of host responses to infectious agents.  Human translational and outcome studies are encouraged.
