The Office of Public Relations and Marketing offers a full range of marketing and communications services to the UAB community. In addition to producing award-winning publications and periodicals, electronic and audio-visual work, the department coordinates various services – including print and broadcast media relations and Web – for both internal and external audiences.
UAB News is a product of the Office of Public Relations and Marketing and includes information produced by Media Relations, Internal Communications and Relations and Marketing’s Periodicals Group, with the goal of providing up-to-date news from UAB about the campus and community plus the latest news from leading experts in health and medicine, science and technology, business, the humanities and the arts.
The website launched in February 2011 and incorporates news from the UAB News Blog, UAB’s YouTube channel, the UAB Reporter and UAB Magazine. Follow us on Twitter to get all the news from UAB.
