The Department of Music and the CAS Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts have partnered with the Birmingham Art Music Alliance to bring chamber works that connect music with the art of artist Enrique Martínez Celaya, whose works will be on exhibition at AEIVA. The gallery viewing, reception and evening performance are set for 5 p.m. Thursday, March 10, with performers to include Chris Steele, piano; Laura Usiskin, cello; and other members of the UAB faculty.
