The UAB Department of Medicine’s Research Development Group selected Nicholas Van Wagoner, M.D., fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases, to receive the 2011 Walter B. Frommeyer Jr. Fellowship in Investigative Medicine.
The Research Development Group also selected Patricia Goode, M.D., professor of medicine in the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics and Palliative Care and Chander Raman, Ph.D., associate professor in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, to receive the Max Cooper Award for Research Excellence for 2011.
