The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Paul W. Sanders, M.D., as the third holder of the Thomas E. Andreoli Professorship in Nephrology in the Department of Medicine in the School of Medicine during its June 17, 2011 meeting. Sanders has been a member of the UAB faculty since 1987.
