Jean Ivey, D.S.N., C.R.N.P., associate professor at the UAB School of Nursing, has received a three-year, $772,143 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop pediatric nurse practitioners qualified to sit for national certification exams in primary and acute care and obtain the certification to deliver high-quality care across health-care settings.
