The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees named Nassrin Dashti Hubbard, Ph.D., professor emerita of medicine in the UAB School of Medicine during its meeting Nov. 3, 2011. Hubbard, who has been granted continuous funding for her research from the National Institutes of Health since 1978, came to UAB in 1992.
