University of Alabama at Birmingham students will have a new food option as Chick-fil-A is slated to open its doors in the Hill Student Center by mid-2024.
The popular fast-food chain, known for its chicken sandwiches and exceptional customer service, will become another welcome addition to UAB’s campus dining options.
“Year after year, Chick-fil-A ranks at the top of the list by a wide margin when students are asked what new food options they would like to see added to our current slate of restaurants,” said Marc Booker, executive director of Student Housing and Dining. “With this addition to our Campus Dining portfolio, we are able to enhance the student experience on campus.”
Chick-fil-A officially opened in the Hill Student Center on July 10.
The decision to bring Chick-fil-A to UAB comes after careful consideration and collaboration between the university and the restaurant chain. The Hill Student Center, a hub of student activity, will now feature this iconic eatery, providing students with convenient access to its menu.
